Life Balance/ Flexibility
Right now, I do not have any children, so I think time management is really important right now so that when I decide to have a family I know my boundries.
What parts in the business are my main priority and also family comes first.
When to work
I am willing to work any day of the week, but I do have to have at least one or two days off.
Close to home
I think a business is easier to run in my opinion if it is close to home and you're not spending a good part of your day driving.
Make time to take vacations
I want to have enough people on my team to be able to take vacations when I want and also when it is needed.
High traffic location
I can not be in an area where I would see a couple people a day, and that also would not make the business grow.
Be on feet all day
Running your own business can be tiring especially when you're taking pictures or orders.
Be physically fit
Handling boxes and heavy equipment
To run a business, my mental health has to be another focal point, because if I am not in a healthy state then it is going to reflect on my business.
Helping with start-up
I would count on my family to help my in different aspects of my business. It does get to a certain point where they have to step back and focus on themselves.
Decide what is work
When running your business, or even just having a job in general, sometimes you are constantly thinking about that.
Do not drive them away
This goes with family helping out. I would not want to put so much work on them that they end up not wanting to help at all.
I want to create a business because I want to be my own boss and have a job that I love. Creating my own business will be proving to myself that If I can make something out of nothing then I can do anything. Financially, it will be hard in the beginning, but after a while of being successful, great things can come out of it.
