- Respiration: our body uses respiration to obtain oxygen and expel carbon dioxide

Respiration: air enters the body through the nostrils. Air goes first to the pharynx, then the larynx and next to the trachea . In the lungs, oxygen passes from the air to the blood . At the same time, carbon dioxide passes from the blood to the air. Finally, the air is exhaled from the body.

The heart is an organ made up of muscles. These muscles do that the heart pump blood around the body and is located in thoracic cavity. These are the different areas, called chambers.
Systemic circulation is of blood between the heart and the rest of the body .
- Oxygenated blood enters the left atrium and passes to the left ventricle
- The left ventricle contracts and pumps blood through the aorta, the body's largest artery .
- The aorta, branches into smaller arteries to reachthe capillariesin the diferent organs.
- In the small intestine, blood picks up nutrients throught absorption.
- In the capillaries, blood realeses oxygen and nutrients, and collects carbon dioxide and waste substances.
- In kidneys, blood is filtered to realase waste substances
- Finally ,blood returns to the right atrium of the heart throght the vena caba
