Blood is normally a code of somebody being hurt and is used a lot through horror, thriller and action movies. So we made sure that we showed that through or 2-minute opening

To emphasise that she is a killer and that she is caught up on other killings happening around the world

Represent her next target, which are her sisters friends and her sister

The party make up was essential because it shows that they were at a Halloween party
Blood splatters on main characters face
We made sure that blood splatters appear on the main characters face to show that the blood splattered on to her face after she killed the people

The party clothes was essential because it shows that they were at a Halloween party

The reason that we used gloves is because killers normally wear gloves so that they do not leave any finger prints.

A sponge is normally associated with cleaning, this is a symbolic code within the narrative to clean the crime scene and the evidence
