Weathering
The break down or dissolving of rocks and minerals from the Earth's surface.
Erosion
The process of earth's materials are worn away and transported by natural forces.
Physical Weathering
The process that breaks rocks apart without their chemical composition
River Basins
The area of land drained by s river
Aquifers
A body of permeable rock which can contain or transmit groundwater
Groundwater
Water held underground in the soil or in pores and crevices in rocks
Landslides
The sliding down of a mass of earth/rock from a mountain/cliff
Sinkhole
A cavity in the ground, especially in limestone bedrock, caused by water erosion
Chemical weathering
The erosion or disintegration of rocks caused by chemical reaction
