Students often go around in a circle to share. Students who are towards the end of the share have to remember their response for a long time.
Students are often given specific sentence starters that they are required to use. These sentence starters are only given verbally.

Children sit on the rug for greeting, share, morning message, and flow of the day
Students sit in an open circle facing the middle of the circle. This welcomes students, acknowledges, and values all students as a member of the classroom community.

Little space for bodies. Have to sit with their legs crossed. Bodies touch those next to each other. A student with physical disabilities may not be able to participate in this circle.
