What Doctor's suggest:
-
Low-Fat Diet
-
only anecdotal evidence from patients saying it makes them feel better (in a single cohort, improvement of relapses and functional status)
"it's such a low-risk intervention that I don't see any reason not to recommend it" Dr. Vijayshree Yadav, neurologist at Oregon Health and Science University, MS Center. (Is there an MS diet?)

-
CONCLUSION: insufficient evidence to prove any of these work, they all suggest:
-
-
-
-
-
Avoid these:
-
Foods in general
saturated fats - known to raise LDL (bad cholesterol), MS known to increase risks of heart problems
-
Cows milk - may be intolerant to specific proteins, but uncommon
Sugar - purely to avoid weight gain, makes it harder for already weakened muscles to carry you around
Sodium - excess sodium linked to increased blood pressure, higher sodium the more likely to relapse and develop new lesions
-
Gluten
-
not necessarily helpful unless you seem intolerant, then it reduces body inflammation
-
-
Natural Supplements
-
-
-
-
Ginkgo Biloba
for fatigue, brain function + memory
-
-
-
primrose oil (linoleic acid) - sunflower seeds/safflower oil, taking as supplement may slightly improve ms symptoms
Marijuana
-
anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, antimeticm antipsychotic, neuroprotective
reduce fatigue, pain and spasticity (eventually improve mobility)

-
Physical Symptom
Muscles
-
-
-
-
unsteady gait
-
strength
-
-
wall push ups, overhead press,
the bridge (legs, glutes, lower back, abdomen)

Physical Disability
-
In multiple sclerosis, or MS, your immune system attacks myelin, the fatty tissue that surrounds and protects nerve fibers.
This causes scar tissue (sclerosis, also called plaque or lesions) to form on nerve fibers, disrupting the flow of electrical impulses throughout the nervous system.
