UNICEF was founded on the 11th of December in 1946. It was founded in New York City in the United States.
UNICEF provides emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. The polish physician known as Ludwik Rajchman is widely known as the founder of UNICEF and he also served as the first chairman from 1946. In 1950, UNICEF's orders was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. UNICEF relies on contributions from governments and private donors.

An example of the *World Health Organization in Action creating a solution for Cervical Cancer that could affect 50% of people in 2040. Over 300,000 Women die each year from Cervical and that number could very well increase if no one does anything about it. The WHO has come up with a solution to fight against Cervical Cancer in women by getting women vaccinated against HPV and that every woman over 30 is screened and treated for pre-cancerous lesions to prevent cervical cancer.
