The World Food Program was founded in 1961. It is known as one of the worlds largest humanitarian organization addressing food security and hunger.
The Founders of the World Food program are, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA)
The Purpose of the world food program is to promote food security and to address the issue of hunger around the world. The WFP provides food assistance to approximately 91.4 million people in around 83 countries each year.
In Laos the World Food Program (WFP) based in Lao PDR has set plans for communities and promoting nutritious crops, diversified diets, and improving infant and you child feeding practices.
