Output goals are the goals that define the organisation's type of business and are the basis of the mission statements that organisations often use to indicate their purposes.
System goals are to concerned with the internal conditions that are expected to increase the organisation's survival potential. They represent short term organizational characteristics that higher level managers wish to promote.
Control is the set of mechanisms used to keep actions and outputs within predetermined limits. Setting standards measuring results against them and instituting corrective action.
Output controls are controls that focus on desired targets and allows managers to use their own methods for reaching defined targets. They promote flexibility and creativity as well as facilitating dialogue about corrective action.

Coordination is the set of mechanisms used in an organization to link the actions of its subunits into a consistent pattern.
Personal methods of coordination(committees, developing a set of values)
Impersonal coordination methods (schedules, budgets and plans,cross departmental work units )
Organisational design is the process of choosing and implementing a structural configuration for an organization.
Organisations structure is the intended configuration of positions, job duties and lines of authority among the component parts of an organization
