A. Casting
All-lead bullets are the oldest type of projectile cartridge, they were successful because of their easy-to-handle characteristics. Casting bullets, despite its disadvantages, is the oldest type of manufacturing method which was done by pouring molten lead into a mold.
B. Swaging
Projectiles made via swaging use a punch and a die cavity, shaped to match the profile of the bullet, to make. Post swaging may add grooves to hold extra lubricant or to help secure the bullet in the cartridge case. Lastly, all bullets are lubricated.
