The laws of business and environment made it easy to open businesses. Freedom of religion resulted in more scientific and technological advancements. There was high wealth and a lower population. England had many colonies and trade routes which increased the resources. And England had undergone an agricultural revolution, which resulted in a surplus in food. Since there was a steady demand and a high supply of food, agricultural producers reduced prices and since wages remained high, laborers could afford other goods such as silk, cotton, wool and opium.
