What do information do I want to get from the coaches?

What are the important physical qualities of (position) and how do they relate to individual components of their specific task? e.g. what are the important physical qualities of a fast bowler and how do they relate to individual components of the bowling action. Start of run up to the end of follow through.

Ideas on how these can be specifically worked on in skills training sessions

Would having specific tests that relate to these specific athletic qualities aid in selection discussions

Ideas on how these can be specifically worked on outside of skills sessions

  1. Running between wickets - comparison between straight line speed over 17.68m and running a two. Looking at peak speed over both. Look at when deceleration starts when running the two. The closer the straight line peak velocity and the running two peak velocity the potential to be faster. Turning ability plays a part as well. Using a bat. Do you use full gear?
  1. Front foot landing -
