Agape love is a good principle – the demand that we do whatever is most loving for those around us whether we like them or not saves us from personal bias.
Weakness:
theory has no clear and absolute boundaries. Worryingly this means that child torture could be permitted in a hypothetical extreme case where a more loving outcome could be obtained.
-
situation ethics is quite individualistic and involves individuals deciding based on the specific circumstances that they face, it is difficult to see how this could be applied across a society.

Developing Arguments:

What makes you do good? What is the incentive? can you or will you do good if you don't have any reason to?
if non religious people can use this method, it makes people do what is good without them expecting a reward or a consequence. so does this make people who follow SE morally superior?
But if our human nature is damaged by Augustine and we have a divided will are we able to do good without gods help and guidance?
Pelagius counters saying that we can’t have a flawed nature If we did god would be commanding the impossible when he asks humans to be holy. Sin can only be a sin if it was freely chosen
