To keep track of progress, after each sub-subject an exit ticket will be given out relating to the week's topic and will be used as a formative assessment to see what I may have to reteach again. :check: :warning: :!!:
Students categorized or suspected of being Special Needs will work in the low group with the teacher trying to reinforce the objectives of the lessons. If more time seems necessary, consultation hours will take place to use an extra variety of methods (such as less writing and more modality activities) and resources to reinforce the objectives being covered.
ELL students will work with the ELL teacher outside of the classroom to cover the units objectives (using a folktale of a lower reading level) while building a wider vocabulary. Charts of adjectives and synonyms will be provided.
