Chronic Complications

Neuropathy changes in nerves throughout the body. Decrease oxygen(Hypoxia) which can lead to cell death.
Other Types

Cardiovascular Neuropathy: Weakness in exercise, early fatigue, and orthostatic hypotension.
Peripheral Nueropathy: Detoration of nerve function results in altered sensory perception. Tingling/ burning sensation starts in toes and works way up legs.
Gastrointestinal: Delayed gastric emptying, bloating, gastric retention, neausea, vomiting, anorexia, constipation, and diarrhea.

Pain radiating across back,sides, and front of chest & abdomen
Eye pain, wasting of muscles, Non symmeterical weakness
Erectile dysfunction (Macrovascular) Related to smoking, Obesity, Poor glucose regulation, hypertension, and other chronic vascular complications.
