11.1-Human Beings as Sexual, Male and Female
Catholic Teaching about the nature and purpose of sexual love-:star:Sexual intercourse should be within marriage-The sacrament of marriage enables two people in love to commit themselves publically and exclusively to each other
:star:Sex should be unitive-Sexual love expresses and deepens the couples love for each other
:star:Sex should be open to creating new life-Through sex God creates new life
Foundational Biblical Understanding-In Genesis 2 God takes 'Adam' and splits it into two complementary parts. This shows the idea of equality between sexes, as men and women complement each other. Together each person is able to give to the other what the other lacks, producing harmony which isn't possible in isolation
