On Saturday night, my stomach rumbled as I sat on the couch ready to watch a movie. I most definitely had enough to eat for dinner, but that was 3 hours ago. Of course I was hungry! To satisfy my empty stomach, I pulled out the pack of cookie dough from the fridge and baked some cookies. They were a great snack to pair with the movie.

Process
This weekend I baked cookies. First, I had to preheat my oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, I separated my pre-bought cookie dough into smaller pieces. After that, I sprayed my cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. One of my final steps was placing the cookies on the sheet, and then I let them bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Finally, my cookies were ready to eat!

One problem our world is facing currently is climate change. Due to ever-growing utilization of greenhouse gases and fertilizers, our planet is gradually developing a warmer climate. However, there are things we can do to slow down the process of global warming. For one, we could start carpooling to school and recreational activities rather than all taking separate cars. We could also turn off the lights when we aren't using them, and we can plant trees that will use carbon dioxide and release more oxygen.
