An illustrator has a very big role. An illustrator has a different role in normal books and a different in picture books.
In a normal book, an illustrator draws pictures related to what is going on in the story but in a picture book, the illustrator makes his own story using pictures. Picture books are mostly for kids because they don’t know how to read.

An illustration is a picture drawn by someone to convey a specific message. It can be drawn on a canvas, in a book, in a newspaper, and etc. There are many forms of illustrations. All paintings are also illustration.
Picture books
Picture book are books that contain no words and only pictures which are for the reader to look at and figure out what story the pictures are telling. Picture books are also for children because they don’t know how to read but they can get stories from looking at pictures.
Picture books are very famous when it comes to children books.
