Traditional learning with flare
Students construct vocabulary flash cards followed by matching game of debits/credits. Lastly, the students will complete 5 of the scenarios for intermediate learners
Students are monitored using PDF on a scale of 1-4
Scenarios: 4 provided and the 1 created by students
2 Students who have issues with language issues will be given visual aids
This activity will allow students to understand the basics resulting in a mastery of the objectives before moving to the next stage of accounting

Excel and chart
Students learn how to chart using Excel then complete various scenarios by graphic the correct accounts in the Excel
Students are monitored on a scale of 1-4
Scenarios include 19 provided by myself and 1 that the students will create themselves.

Directions of how to create T-accounts in Excel will be provided
5 Students who understood the most
T-Account Monopoly
Students play monopoly with a twist. Instead of receiving cash, all transactions are using T-accounts where students must control their balances using accounting means.
Students are monitored using PDF on a scale of 1-4
4 players play while 1 serves as the auditor ensuring T-accounts are balanced properly
This is a modified board that usually takes 30-45 minutes to complete
Before beginning the game, find 5 visual aids for ESL concerning the scenarios
Justification: Students will be divided dependinding on the results of the pre-quiz. From the previous unit, students may be able to comprehend the major concepts of T-charts which are vital in accounting. If not, higher understanding students will further that knowledge balancing those accounts, intermediate will continue to master the content, and lower levels will use traditional methods to understand the basics then move to master T-accounts.
The Assessment: Multiple choice pre-quiz using Zipgrade to tally quick results
Post Assessment: complete a different multiple choice post-quiz. All students will partake in this assessment to show mastery
Separated groups will be continually monitored in their prospective assignments
Students will also be personally monitored through discussions and assignments using a PDF. Each objective is rated 1-4 and students will be marked on their mastery.
My hopes are all students receive a 4, however, the goal is 3
A reassessment will be the opening of the next day as a class activity dividing the students heterogeneously
