I have a dream essay prompt: I have a dream that someday I will be able to go to college and start a new beginning. My dream is to attend the University of Stanford to play indoor and outdoor volleyball and study to become a veterinarian. I have been dreaming to attend the University of Stanford for decades. My ancestors have been playing volleyball for years. Every day I am reminded to work hard and reach for my goals. Train, train, train, get stronger my coach tells me. Jump, excel, press over the net. My coach is the answerer of my needs and inspires me to reach for my goals. Eat, sleep, volleyball, eat, sleep, volleyball, that's the schedule. When life gets hard and I feel like I can't do it anymore I am reminded of why I do this. Why do I spend my weekends in a gym surrounded by girls reaching to achieve the same goals as I am? What makes me different? My dad always tells me there's no time to sleep when you can use that time to get better. I am reminded that I do this for me and when I play I do it for myself. When I step onto the court I am becoming my own type of leader.
