function
the main function of the eye is to transform light energy into chemical energy that the brain can interpret. it does this by allowing light into the pupil and bending that light onto the retina. the retina is full of cones and rods which turn this light energy into chemical energy and then send it to the brain as chemical energy.

targets the calcium in the blood to reduce concentration
TH
targets the metabolism to start regulation rate
PTH
targets blood to increase blood calcium levels
oxytocin
targets the uterus to start contractions
cortisol
targets the kidneys to turn lipids into stuff
ADH
targets the kidneys to prevent water loss
aldosterone
targets the kidneys to reduce inflammation

targets the fetus to help develop t cells
endocrine diseases
cushings disease
turner sydrome
hyperthyroidism
hypothyroidism
Diabetes mellitus (type 2)
main function of the endocrine system.
the main function of the endocrine system is to help regulate normal body functions. for example, blood glucose levels are regulated by the pancreas , the pineal gland regulates sleep wake cycle, and the adrenal glands regulate the fight or flight response
