Hormones
Adrenal Cortex
Cortisol- most cells in the body- breakdown of proteins and lipid to provide glucose. They also reduce inflammation.
Aldosterone- Kidneys- group of hormones that help to regulate the concentration of mineral ions in the body.
Adrenal Medulla
Epinephrine/non- brain and muscles- help to increase the flow of blood to the brain and muscles.and Can cause the fight or flight response to stress. That increases heart rate, breathing right and disrupt the blood flow to organs.
Parathyroid gland-
Parathyroid Hormone-bone, the intestine, and kidneys- secret parathyroid hormone, causes an increase in blood calcium levels.
Testes
Testosterone- muscles bones and sex organs and hair follicles- growth and increase in strength. Growth of muscles during puberty. Growth in sex organs. Also hair grows.
Thyroid gland
Thyroid hormone-the body- they work together to regulate the body’s metabolic rate. Increased levels of T3 and T4 lead to increased cellular activity of the body.

Posterior Pituitary
Antidiuretic hormone- kidneys- prevents water loss in the body by increasing the uptake of water in the kidneys. And reducing blood flow to the sweat glands.
Oxytocin- uterus and mammary glands- triggers uteric contractions during childbirth and creates breast milk during feeding.
Ovaries
Estrogen- sex organs and bones- during puberty development of the sex characteristics also breast development and also uterus develops fully.
Progesterone- mammary glands- active in females during ovulation and pregnancy. Maintains conditions.
Anterior Pituitary
Adrenocorticotropic Hormone-Adrenal Cortex-stimulates the adrenal Cortex. The outer part of the adrenal gland, to produce its hormones.
Prolactin-mammary glands- has many effects on the body, which stimulates the mammary glands of the breast that then creates milk.

Follicle-stimulating hormone- sex glands- stimulates the follicle cells of the gonads Ova in females and Sperm in males.

Lutenizing hornone- sex glands stimulates the gonads to make sex hormones. Estrogen in females and testorne in males.
Pancreas

Glucagon- liver cells- triggers the muscle and liver cells to break down the polysaccharides glycogen and realizes glucose in to the blood stream.
