The behavior chart has a large comments sections that allows for some more detailed notes

Easy to file and collect the data and map out the general trends over the months. For example the teacher can compare the amount of upset behavior use in the first week of intervention with the the third month of intervention.

The behavior charts are easily able to document the behavior by the hour. This makes it easy to see how often the student is displaying upset behaviors.

The teacher should write down the interventions tried in the comments section so that that any changes in frequency of infraction can be accurately linked to the corresponding intervention.

Must have parental permission

Tracking the data for the behavior specialist school staff shares the data with the specialist, which may be important as the issue could require special support services to solve.

This form of tracking is for use when it becomes obvious that the student has not responded to tier 1 level interventions.
