Some suggestions for free online learning sites like Turtle Diaries, or fun animals apps will be suggested to the parents of the struggling students.
Chinese and English teacher teach basic names
Me and my co-teacher will work together with the struggling students to introduce the animal vocabulary with them in both English and Chinese.
Students can complete a simple worksheet after being introduced to some different animals. The worksheet will match animals to the same animal like monkey to monkey, fish to fish.
Students with some knowledge
Students will be able to go off to play an animal learning game on the IPAD with ABC Animal Toddler Adventures APP.
Teacher Led Sorting Activity
Students will complete a similar sorting activity to that of the strong learning students but with the help of the teacher. The teacher will ask questions about the animals as they sort to help the students understanding.
Complete a worksheet
Students will be able to color an animal work sheet and tell the teacher what animals they colored and what animals they like.
