        Third, they probably lived in oceans.
        
        They probably were archaea.

    - - They made a project that would recreate earths conditions.
        
        They put water that represented the ocean and a mixture of gasses that resembled earth into a flask.
        
        The next step was to send an electric current in the mixture to to stimulate lighting.
        
        In the result there were small chemical units that conjoined and could form proteins-one of the building blocks of life.
