"Stab in the back" theory = the idea that the Jews (working with the Communists and Weimar politicians) caused Germany's defeat in WW1. They stabbed the German Army in the back by signing the Armistice in November 1918.

A group of German Communists that disliked the Weimar Republic and started a Spartacist Uprising in January 1919.

Inspired by: Russian Revolution (who succeeded in 1917, even though they were a small minority group.
Spartacist Uprising: A failure, only lasted 3 days, 100+ people killed (and leaders).

Freikorps: a group of right wing soldiers who attacked Spartacists, they had better weapons and greater numbers.

The Freikorps wanted the Kaiser to return to Germany. They attacked the Weimar Government and took over Belgium.

Kapp and hundreds of soldiers marched into Berlin and refused to go home (disband). President Ebert asked the German Army for help in which they refused to do so.
