Well - if youll forgive me - he's common! Blanche thinks that Stanley is like a peasant, unrefined (54)
"Our first American ancestors were French Huguenots."(39) Blanche takes pride in the fact that she's french, this makes her think she is of higher class than others.
"Where were you? In bed with a Polack!" (15) Blanche constantly mocks and calls Stanley names like peasant, pig and polkas
Blanche is on a different social class compared to her environment. "I take it for granted that you still have sufficient memory of Belle Reve to find this place and these poker players impossible to live with." (4 page 53)
Blanche thinks highly of herself and demands a lot from Mitch. "Look who's coming! My Rosenkavalier! Bow to me first! Now present them. (5 page 66)
Blanche's social class is a teacher but she acts like shes better than that. "And I with my pitiful salary at the school" (1.1 page 14)
"Blanche wouldn't go on a bus." (88) Stella knows that Blanche thinks that she is above taking buses.
Blanche is on a different social class compared to her environment. (4 page 53) She thinks that since her sister has lived in Belle Reve, she should be above these peasants.
"And I am the King around here," pg (131) Even though Stanley is of a person in the lower class, he is still the King of that household, and he never suffers from any consequences for what he does.

"Flamingo? No! Tarantula was the name of it!" (100) She almost makes it sound like Flamingo is below her, and she would never live in a hotel like Flamingo.
Blanche describing you luxurious and expensive home. "Home-place, the plantation... a great big place with white columns." (1.1 page 5)

Symbols
Rhinestone tiara. Blanche has a rhinestone tiara pretending to be rich and sophisticated when really rhinestone is a cheap stone and only looks expensive.
Paper lamp cover: Lamp covers are generally considered to be more classy, but since this one made of paper it almost represents how fragile her own image of the upper class is.
