Scientists held an experiment with children and apes who dropped a ball into a box divided into three sections, one with a prize. The children followed in the lead of there other peers but the apes did not and dropped the ball into the box with the prize.

This relates to Rhine in "Wither" because Rhine's life changed in an instant when she was kidnapped and feared what would happen to her she was taken away from her family.

This article talks about new weapons and getting tactical weapons tested in order for them to be approved.
This relates to the book, "Wither" because at the very begininning of the book, the main character, Rhine hears gun shots and is very afraid and does not know what is happening.
Additional Connection
The book "Wither" reminds me of a War because in a war there are many gun shots heard and in, "Wither", the main character Rhine, always hears gunshots and never knows where they are coming from or why they are happening.

With this clip, you can see the main character get seperated from her family and not know if she will ever see them again.
Also, in this clip you can see a town that looks old and rusty which is like what is described in "Wither".
This relates to Rhine in, "Wither" because Rhine is kidnapped and taken from her family.

In the world today, technology is becoming more and more advanced and in the book, technology has become too advanced and is now causing people to die at a very young age

This relates to the book, "Wither" because people should stand up and tell Linden what he is doing is wrong and do something to help Rhine and the rest of the girls.
