In 1914, the German Empire went to war alongside its two allies (friends) Austria-Hungary and Turkey. Together, they were known as the Central Powers. They fought against the Allied Powers: Russia, Britain, France and Japan. As the war went on, Italy and America both joined the Allied Powers.
Germany was defeated by the Allies (Britain, France, Russia, America, Italy) in World War I. At 11:00am on 11 November 1918, an armistice was signed.
Advantage- Equality the weimer system treats people equally both men and women had the power to vote
Fairness -the system was considered very fair due to proportional representation
Disadvantages-Too much power for the president
powerful enemies as it was disliked by the army and the judges
Weak government-: Proportional representation meant that all governments were based on coalitions. These coalitions often fell apart, because the members of the coalition would fall out with one another. There were 15 coalitions in 15 years (1918-1933).
Women dressed differently as time progressed. Notably, skirts became shorter - as did haircuts too
In Weimar Germany, there was much greater sexual freedom and toleration of a wider range of lifestyles. This was very different to Germany under the Kaiser!
