One of the more Interesting forms of storytelling on the Internet is that of the ARG (Alternate Reality Game). A series where the audience is required at certain points in order to continue the story, this may be through solving puzzles or finding hidden sites through a myriad of links. There are many ongoing ARG's which take place on YouTube an involve the protagonist making vlog style videos or made through animation

The Slender-Verse is a collection of YouTube ARG's that usually contain unrelated story lines and there own unique take on the internet folk tale of the SlenderMan Creature. These series are usually in a vlog style format and may span multiple channel. Every now and again the audience may be called forth to assist the protagonist by following clues found in the videos which may lead to physical media that will lead to a new development in the story. However despite there many differences, most of them tend to still remain canon with one another due to the flexibility of the monster. One of the most notorious, and the arguably the first, is Marble Hornets.
