Why do people move?
Because farming in the rural areas has become more efficient because of machinery,this has increased unemployment in rural ares forcing people to move
As the cities are growing bigger and more industries are formed. People from rural ares move to Urban ares to take up these jobs.
In Cities there are better amenities and services like better schools and hospitals , clean running water and electricity.

As a result of changes made in the rural areas like clean water and proper sewage disposal there has been a decrease in death rates. This is good for the population as a whole, but it does cause a problem for the farms because they cannot support all of these people. This results in people moving into the cities.
Better Amenities
In the city there are schools for children to go to, hospitals, clean water. All of these services are either too expensive or not there in the rural areas

As a results of there being droughts and flooding in north-east Brazil, this has pushed people into moving into the cities

As a country becomes more developed so does it roads. This means it is easier and safer for people in the villages and rural areas to move to the city

People can actually see how the cities look like thanks to network and social media. What they present make the cities a lot more attractive to those in the rural area.
