What are the Stirrings, and why do the citizens have to take pills for it?
-
-
the stirrings are like a dream. they have to take pills so they don't have a love for someone. they also have to take the pills for stopping their emotions.JK
-
They have take pills because they don't allow them to be dreaming bad things. They don't want them to have feelings or emotions for one another or someone NIK

What do you think is meant by this quote from chapter 5: "Always better, less rude, to talk about things that were the same" pg. 48
I think it means that when everyone is the same there are not feelings to be hurt or you can't make fun of people and things like that IC
I agree because if you point out how someone is different they often feel bad or like an outcast and that has been eliminated in this community.
-
This quote means when they have dreams they want it to bee good not bad. they don't want to see the differences in each other. they want to have good things about each other NIK
i think it means that you can talk to some one like you. you can communicate with someone with no anger or rudeness. you can talk to someone about the same topic. JK
I think that this means that you will be chastised for pointing out that someone has light hair and blue eyes instead of the norm of dark hair and light eyes.AC

why do you think the people got scared when the plane flew over the community in the beginning of the book DH
I think this is because they might be scared that there are bad people on it or people from the other places that they don't like. IC
I agree with this because the people on there probably dont know what their rules are and they could act different from everyone else and look at the differences in each other. NIK
I think people got scared of the plane because they vary rarely see planes in general flying things.

What's the point of having all the age-leveled rules? Why do you think so? Support your answer with text evidence and page numbers.
the point of have all the age leveled rules is so that the community does not get over populated and I think that because there is only fifty people in each group. DH
-
they put only 50 people in a group because they dont want to have the people see the difference in each other NIK
-
The point of having age leveled rules are to keep the kids safe. they also have them so you can do what you are intrested in. they also have so groups dont get over populated. JK
-
I think it is to get rid of talking about the year that someone is born example kids born in 2004 vs 2005. because in the book it says that it is rude to point out differences in others. AC
The point of these rules are they don't get their own freedom of choise. It makes them a productive member. They want everyone to be the same and not see the differences in each other NIK

Do you think the kids will pretend to forget to take the pills and start protesting against the age level rules? N.k
