numb/clumsy hands
loss of balance
loss of bladder/bowel control
weakness > paralysis
Pinched Nerve
Numbness
Intermittent neurogenic claudication
lower limb numbness
weakness
diffuse or radicular pain (radiating)
Bilateral.
Sx occur with extension of spine
Relieved by flexion.
No sx when seated or supine.
Radiculopathy
nerve root dysfunction
weakness
loss of sensation/reflexes
Maybe radicular pain.
Cauda Equina Syndrome
lower extremity pain
weakness
numbness
bladder/bowel dysfunction
saddle anaesthesia.
