Present
Reading
As a child I heavily disliked reading, but when I read the Harry Potter series at 11, I developed an intense love and interest in reading as many stories as I could.
Although my senior high school years have left little free time, I always dedicate at least an hour a day to reading.
-
Leadership
I regularly look after several children, many of whom don't always get along, and it's necessary to resolve conflicts between them.
I have taken responsibility for the writing club at my school, and It can definitely take a lot of work.
Baking/Cooking
-
My home is often filled with the smells of fresh baked goods, I enjoy baking a lot.

Future
Travel
I desperately want to visit Greece, see the ruins, and all the history that the country has. I've always been deeply interested by Greek Mythology, so that's definitely at the top of my list.
I've never been outside of North America, so I would like to leave the continent, and travel to at least 4 other countries.
Education/Career
I want to take some kind of history courses in university, as it greatly interest me.
In my future I hope to have completed university, or be in university.
After university I hope to go into a career related to Psychology, or Sociology but the current job market is very competitive, so I realize it may take some time.
Writing/Reading
Im bound to be very busy with university and possible careers, but I still want to leave time for reading. I really want to read very grand novels, like the lord of the rings trilogy.
When I leave high school, I probably won't have enough time for another writing club, let alone lead one, so I plan to participate in monthly writing competitions such as nanowrimo.
Compassion
I hope to remain kind throughout the years, even if hardships befall me.
I want to be some kind of an a activist, and try my best to always speak out about the injustices of the world.
Past
Reading/Writing
I actually really detested reading for a long time. As a young child, ironically, I saw no point in reading. I was put in classes outside of the regular ones to help me learn. It wasn't until I read a book about a certain magical wizarding school when I was 11 that I began reading for enjoyment
My first foray into writing was letters. I remember being 11 years old, and writing letters to J.K. Rowling, or whatever other children's author I was fascinated by in the moment. I would never end up sending these letters, but I still wrote them without stop.
Elementary School
Along with peer mediator, I was a crossing guard at my school for two years. In the morning and after school I would monitor the crosswalks, stopping the cars and making sure kids could get through.
As a child I was elected a peer mediator at my school. In this I would settle conflicts between the students, and help any of the younger children that needed assistance. There were only four peer mediators chosen, for grades 6/7, and I was lucky enough to be a part for both years
In sixth grade, I was awarded a certificate for empathy only one person in every grade. was chosen. I was also put in a program to help children with specials needs from second grade onwards.
Theatre
In grade 8 I was in our school's performance of "A Midsummer's Night Dream" as a fairy. That might have been the extent of my acting career, but even preparing for a small role like that was extremely rigorous.
For 3 of my high school years, I took the theatre and drama courses at school. However, I stopped in grade 11, as I wanted to focus on more academic courses, and electives I enjoyed more.
Sports
I played soccer for about 4 years, and though I wasn't the best, I always enjoyed it.
When I was around 12, I read the hunger games trilogy and was inspired to take up archery, I took it for two years , and still occasionally go to ranges.

I have some family that lives in The Netherlands that I have never met, so it would be nice to visit them.
