Abdominal Vasculature
Lumbar abdominal aorta
Celiac artery
Hepatic artery
Right gastric artery extends from pylorus to cardia and supplies the lesser curvature of the stomach
-
-
Left gastric artery supplies the lesser and greater curvature of the stomach. Anastomoses with the right gastric artery
Splenic artery
Left gastroepiploic artery (a branch of dorsal splenic artery) supplies the greater curvature of the stomach and anastomoses with the right gastroepiploic artery ( branch of hepatic artery ) at the pylorus
Dorsal splenic artery also gives rise to short gastric arteries that supply the greater curvature of the stomach on the left side
-
Splenic artery cross the dorsal surface of the pancreas ( left lobe) in the deep leaf of greater omentum
Ventral splenic artery supply to the rest of spleen , variation of branches can be find at the ventral branch and give rise to left gastroepiploic artery
Intestine

Caudal mesenteric artery
Unpaired, arises near termination of aorta. Enters the descending mesocolon, runs caudoventrally to the mesenteric border of the descending colon.
Left colic artery: follows mesenteric border of descending colon, anastomoses with middle colic artery.
Cranial rectal artery: descends along the rectum, anastomoses with middle rectal artery.
Cranial mesenteric vein
arborizes in mesentery, collects blood from caudal duodenum, jejunum, ileum and right lobe of pancreas
Caudal mesenteric vein
in mesocolon, drains the cecum and colon
