RC circuit: discharging
- As the switch s is closed, electron from negative plate flow through the resistor R to the positive plate. The charge neutralize one another. As the charge stored in the capacitor decreases, the potential difference v capacitor across the capacitor decreases.
- Finally, when the charge totally neutralize one another, the potential difference v capacitor drops to zero. the capacitor is now fully discharged.

- As the switch s is closed, charge flow through the resistor R into the capacitor. as the charges start to build up into the capacitor, a potential difference v capacitor develop across the capacitor.
- Finally when this potential v capacitor equals to the voltage v of the supply, the voltage oppose each other and the charge stop flowing. the capacitor is now fully charged.
