this type of family is when children from prior relationships become siblings through marriage

CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS
this is the legalised union of 2 people, with near enough the same rights of a married couple
ADVANTAGES
no need to change the last name and go through all important documents to change the last name on those
same property rights and exemptions (security, inheritance tax, etc) as a married couple
can convert civil partnership into marriage
DISADVANTAGES
expensive
to dissolve the partnership is a long and expensive process, similar to divorce
CIVIL MARRIAGE
this is a form of marriage with a civil contract but without a religious ceremony

ADVANTAGES
no expensive of a wedding needed
separates religion from the government
easy to divorce so no need for a long process
DISADVANTAGES
someone has to change their name and so they have to go through the long process of changing their name on all documents

not legal in some countries (Arabian countries)
TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE

cost of a wedding is expensive
big divorce costs

taxes are lower and inheritance tax is easier to sort out
you can take out loans from social institutions
