      - Another problem posed by Psillos- some 'observable' things would be problematic given our limitations as human beings. Pluto is an observable object and cold an observable property. However if we were transported to Pluto then we'd die of cold pretty quickly- instantly, even?- and so couldn't observe the coldness of Pluto?

        TRANSIENT UD as a threat to CE- why should we believe in the future empirical adequacy of theories which have up till now empirical equivalents which will diverge in future?
        
        because sheep, lamb, this sticking of the neck out is necessary to make any use of scientific practice at all. truth is not.
