        effectives decreased if used chronically (EXCEPT LABAs)
        
        usually not used as monotherapy but in combination with inhaled steroids
        
        Salmeterol & formoterol are long acting B2 selective agonists as a result of high lipid solubility , acting as a slow depot
      - non selective adrenergics - adrenaline
      - MOA: activates cAMP, which relaxes smooth muscle of airway & dilates bronchial & increase airflow
        
        inhibits mediator release from mast cells
- - - - preventing breakdown of cAMP-smooth muscles relax & bronchodilation occurs
