Aesthetics
This kettle comes in two colours, one in a smooth brushed silver colour and one in white with gold finishing but that one is limited edition
The kettle has no water markings on the kettle itself, to view the water levels the user will have to use an app (further explained in "functions")
This kettle can be turned on using WiFi on the users phone or manually using the glowing circular button on the rotational base. The glowing circular button gives the kettle a more futuristic appearance and makes it look more expensive
The gold finishing on the edges of the handle and the top of the kettle (gloss black in the silver version) gives the kettle a very luxurious look
The upside down "L" shape handle allows the user to hold the kettle comfortably and allow them to rest their thumb on top of the handle where the button to open the lid is, this will make it easier for the user to open the lid to fill it up with water whilst holding the kettle. This shape will be comfortable for both right-handed and left-handed people and it will also be comfortable for different sizes of hands. A soft-touch handle such as a soft rubberised area on the handle can make it more comfortable to grip and lift.

Cost
The price of this product in the UK is different for the two colours. The price for the silver coloured kettle is £99.99 and £129.99 for the limited edition one
The cost to make this product may have been quite high as this product runs over WiFi so testing that the product works and the network is safe may have costed more than usual kettles. There is also a cost for making the app which is usually quite high
Due to the possible high costs the company has introduced the "limited edition" kettle which is exactly the same as the original just in different colour but in higher price meaning the company would make a higher profit
The product does not have much plastic and is mainly metal meaning that the cost of the material itself is quite high
This product is good for value as it offers unique capabilities that other kettles in the market do not have, even the ones that are double the price
Customer
The target audience for this product is young adults and adults as the product is too expensive for a student and too high in technology for most elderly people to use
-
-
Customers may be attracted to the high technology of this product but some may prefer to use the old classic kettles as they may find it more comfortable to use.
Environment
This product comes with a 2 year warranty and is repairable by the company itself, meaning that the customer won't have to throw the product away if it fails to work due to a fixable fault

The use of polymers is not good in hot water especially for health and also plastic is not good for landfills
Having variable temperatures can help cut down on the amount of energy wasted when heating your water
-
Size
-
The product does not occupy much space at all and will fit perfectly on any kitchen countertop leaving enough space to do other things around it
The capacity of this kettle is 1.8 litres , which is above the average UK size (1.5-1.7 litres)
Safety
As the kettle is controlled by the iOS or Android app and Amazon's Alexa and Google Assistant devices it makes the user susceptible to cyber attacks but it is protected by WEP, WPA, WPA2 encryption
The 360° rotational base makes it safer for the user to pick up the kettle as it won't be pulled back by a cord and it will also make it easier to put it back
