Upper Class had better transport so could travel further to play their sports
These were the lower class and they played simple games such as Mob Football
Lower Class could not read and write so played simple games with unwritten rules
Upper Class were well educated and could read and write so their games had complex written rules
These were the upper class gentry. They played complex sophisticated games such as Real Tennis
Lower Class played irregularly due to lack of time and long working hours
Upper Class had a lot of time on their hands as they did not have to work

Lower Class played violent games due to a lack of law and order
Upper Class they were more refined and educated
Games were played in villages and often centred around a church or a pub
