Gathering Public Support About Child Poverty
**Method #1 - Setting up a booth during a fair or festival of sorts
An informative booth can help people understand child poverty better.
Takes time to set up
Cost lots of money
People have the opportunity to ask questions about child poverty
A lot of people will come across our booth
Method #2 - Door to Door
People could be annoyed by us and not answer the door.
People are not always home
We will go door to door explaining to people what child poverty is. They can ask questions and everything.
Good opportunity for people to ask about child poverty, we can be informative
We can develop a healthy relationship with the people we talk to
Method #3 - Handing Out Items in Front of Stores
People will often look the other way and ignore us
It will cost lots of money in order to pay for pamphlets, ribbons, or whatever we decide to use.
By stationing certain members in front of popular stores we can reach out to a lot of people. It is there where we can hand out pamphlets, ribbons, etc. By getting out in the community we can help spread the word about child poverty.
We can reach out to a lot of people
Handing out pamphlets can help people be more informed about child poverty
Method #4 - Social Media Campaign
Not everyone may have access to social media*
You may not have enough followers or your hashtag might not be shared so there is a chance where it won't raise awareness
We will start a movement involving a certain hashtag in order to gain the influence of young minds. By using a short but thoughtful slogan it will catch on and spread like wildfire. Just like the #metoo movement.
Will gather lots of young adults attention
Has a good chance of spreading like wildfire or going viral
