7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Be Proactive
Take responsibility for your life
Not taking any action in an effort to increase your quality of life
Speak out if I don't want to do something
Ask for something if I think I can benefit from it
Think about myself and how a situation makes me better and don't worry too much
Begin with the End in Mind
Define your mission and goals in life
Do things as you come up with them and have no plan
Think about why I want to do something or should do something
Figure out what I want to achieve. That way I have a goal to meet
Think it through before making and decision rather than reacting impulsive
Put First Things First
Prioritize and do the most important things first
Waste your time on the unimportant stuff leaving no time for what is truly important
Decide what I want to work on today. If it is a slow day. Focus on development instead of doing nothing
Divide work and private. Don't take any work with you home. Leave that for when you are at work
Make time for important stuff such as my girlfriend or family
Think Win-Win
An attitude which makes everyone win
Don't think about others. I must win, no matter what happens to the rest
Evaluate how your actions might affect others in a positive of negative way
Compromise, instead of giving up or overulling
Go out of your way to help others who might be able to help you in return
Seek first to Understand, Then to Be Understood
Listen to people carefully and sincerely
Don't listen to others statement and only stand for your own argument
Put yourself in someones shoes when they are talking to you to understand their position
Be open for other perspectives on a matter
Try to figure out what someone is trying to make clear. Not just what they are saying
Synergize
Work together to achieve more
Not asking for help nor providing any help
When you are stuck or don't know something of can't find something, ask!
Think of multiple methods to achieve something. Some may give more benefit. Especially when working together
Remember that you are not alone
Sharpen the Saw
Renew yourself regularly
Only think about pleasing others and forgetting yourself
Workout to feel fit and gain energy
Take the time to work on your relation with others
Clear your mind and process what you have been doing
