ACCUSED OF BEING A PEST AND OF STIRRING UP SEDITIONS
The theme of the speech "TREASURES FROM GOD’S WORD" of this week is incredible.
... the means by which God might help us?
Jehovah has used resources to which an experienced man like Paul would
NOT
have thought; a Roman army.
... courage?
Paul did not hold back.
Meditating on these events will help us to face difficult situations by remaining faithful.
In Venezuela, despite the difficulties, not one of our spiritual brothers and sisters is inactive!
They trust in Jehovah, they see promises fulfilled, and they preach with courage!
What does this account teach US about ..... any attempt made to contrast God’s purpose?
Jehovah used Paul to testify unreachable authorities.
Consider the three main facts.
Let's not forget that it was Jehovah’s will that Paul go to Rome to give a witness. (Ac 23:11)
Paul’s nephew heard of the plot and reported it, preventing Paul’s premature death. (Ac 23:16)
The Jews in Jerusalem “bound themselves with a curse” in order to kill Paul. (Ac 23:12)
The enemies of truth, prove cunning in preparing false accusations against faithful worshipers of Jehovah God.
Just what the Roman garrison of Jerusalem was looking for.
In addition to this fact, the enemies of the truth were bound by an oath to kill Paul.
ACTS 23:12
As in the first century; even today Satan his world made a oath to obstruct us!
Do not be scared!
If we are doing Jehovah's will, he will support us!
In the case of the apostle Paul they did everything to make believe that he was an Egyptian revolver.
Jehovah God used the young nephew of the apostle Paul to warn the authorities of the murderous plan of the members of the Sanhedrin.
True, the homicidal plan is postponed as we can see in the image on the screens.
But, now Paul has to face all the charges of sedition.
ACTS 23:16
And it is still possible for the Jews to try to kill him.
Paul addresses the false accusations.
Immediately, the prosecutors of Paul try to ingratiate themselves with the court, flattering them ...... and then they accuse Paul.
ACTS 24:5,6
They seem agitated !!!
Preaching makes us feel joyful;
...but it makes Satan angry.
Then; the more time we dedicate to field service, the happier we are .... and brave.
This world is organized; He does not want us to serve Jehovah.
They want to intimidate Paul because he stops preaching.
Russia, Venezuela, and in other parts of the world, this situation is real for our spiritual brothers and sisters.
How do they respond to the charges?
We will act like the faithful Jehovah's witnesses of the past. How?
The apostle Paul took the opportunity to testify to those present.
ACTS 24:10
Paul, before speaking, waited for a signal from the competent authority.
We must always remember that we are representatives of the kingdom of God.
So, we always want to show off its beautiful qualities.
He was determined to be faithful in words and conduct.
Could he die? YES, but with courage and calm remained firm in the faith.
How did Jehovah God turn the situation upside down?
Claudius Lysias, the commander of the garrison in Jerusalem, used 500 of the 1,000 soldiers under his orders to escort Paul and save him.
He continued to give complete testimony about Jesus Christ!
So, as we trust in Jehovah, let's imitate the good example of Paul.
He loved Jehovah and the field service.
Do we love Jehovah?
Do we honor the task of preaching that has entrusted us?
While Jehovah God protects us from the oath that Satan and his world have made to discourage us ...
WE MUST preach .... with FAITH, AND COURAGE.
Paul was a pioneer with an extraordinary spirit.
