Organizational Tools
When?
1) When student shows poor organization 2) when student struggles to follow school or class procedures and routines 3) when student consistently fails to turn in assignments or not complete homework

1) Improves time management 2) Helps with more order 3) Increases student responsibility 4) Improves work completion
Tier 3 Interventions
Mentoring
When?
1) When a student is unsuccessful behaviourally or academically 2) when a student shows little motivation and effort 3) when a student doesnt seem to have any connections to learning or academics
How?
1) Mentor should be voluntary 2) Keep the student with the same mentor 3) Mentor should be supportive, caring and engaged 4) Help students with agenda, make goals, make a plan, find solutions
Why?
1) Helps student feel someone cares and supports them 2) Provides student with a more personal connection 3) Source of encouragement and accountability
