- - - - ANOVA. Showed differences among plant types for 5 of the dependent variables.
      - LARVAL DEVELPMENTAL SPEED. the higher the speed the more susceptible. It follows the expected for most of plant types. Inbreds falled back.
      - MANOVA. Strong effect over plant type by foliar and root weight.
    - - MANOVA. There is variation between plant types due to larvae presence. Seen in final stem diameter, foliar and root weights.
      - ONE TAIL T-TEST. In Stem, foliar, and root ratio US landraces compensated tissue, (H0=1). MX landraces also compensated, but not as significant as US landraces. US inbreds compensated only root tissue slightly higher than MX landraces but lower than US landraces.
      - Pairwise comparison. infested US landraces did not differ from non-infested. It can be considered as tolerant.
  - - - ONE SAMPLE T-TEST FOR PREFERENCE WITH CONTROLLED GERMINATE WEIGHT (Tal=MO17; Tal>MO17; Tal<MO17). Null = 0.50. Talpitita was preferred than MO17 no matter the germinate weight.
