Image... Protect your image on social media. Maintain your hair colour and cut as similarly to your headshot as possible-think of yourself as a brand.
IF you do change your style, ensure to have new headshots taken.
Singing... Ensure to record a vocal warm up for yourself and have it saved.
Reco0rd a piano accompaniment to all songs in your rep, prepped for auditions.
Have a private singing lessons, when you can afford to!

Go to the gym and attended class (68, pineapple, base...) as well as masterclasses and workshops
Rejection... Remember, nothing is personal. Its always based on opinion and doesn't reflect on you as a person.
Preparing... Ensure to get the earlier train at least, and always arrive promptly to avoid extra stress.
Have the music prepared in the correct format for that audition, as well as appropriate dance wear and footwear.
Do your research and make sure you are familiar with the show, and of the shows MD, director and producer.
Make sure to use Spotlight, Casting Weekly and simply through word of mouth to find out about auditions.
Professionalism... Make sure to keep your social media up to date and clean. Avoid ranting, especially about shows or others in the industry.
Do your research and ensure you know influential peoples names and their roles in the show or audition your are at/in.
Make sure to call ahead if you are late and to reply to calls and emails ASAP. Make an effort at all times, turning up to rehearsals and events in a mess is disrespectful and created the wrong impression.

Diet! Eating well and giving your body what it needs rather than what it wants will be the most beneficial

Mental Wellbeing.. Have time with friends or family who know nothing about the industry and what it is to be auditioning.
Find hobbies and interests outside of the dancing world
Remember as far as rejection is concerned that its never personal.
Tax... Keep hold of every receipt you receive that you believe can ensure a tax rebate, i.e. gym memberships, dance wear etc...
If you have the money, consider hiring an accountant to work your tax out for you.
Receive extra pay for working Sundays, understudy role, understudy responsibility... agents cannot take a commission off your travel allowances if your touring
On average, agents take a 12.5% commission off your earnings, but this can be more if you partake in radio, TV or film work
