DDos Attack
A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack occurs when multiple systems flood the bandwidth of a targeted system, usually one or more web servers. Such an attack is often the result of multiple compromised systems (for example, a botnet) flooding the targeted system with traffic.

Virus
a piece of code that is capable of copying itself and typically has a detrimental effect, such as corrupting the system or destroying data.
Data Breach - On December 4th, The company Quora had a data breach that exposed 100 million people's personal information. People who were affected were alerted by company, and were required to change their passwords.
Phishing Scam-On December 3rd, an email virus was was sent out reading "Urgent. Read Immediately" and is responsible for collecting the credit card information of thousands of people. People not knowing about hackers in disguise is a security concern because people are just giving away their information to thieves.

DDos Attack - On April 1, the group Anonymous started a DDos attack aganist Donald Trump. The group sought to take down the billionaire’s websites for his hotel chain and a presidential campaign, and
his email servers. Anonymous hoped the attack would help end Trump’s bid for the White House and damage his brand.
