General: fever, unwell
Abdo: tender lower abdomen
Bimanual: tender uterus, offensive discharge
Investigations
Bedside
Obs: high HR/RR, BP, pyrexia
ECG: may be sinus tachy
BM (glucose)
Bloods
FBC (high WCC), CRP (high),
U+Es, LFTs
Blood culture

History
PC/HPC: pain, fever, discharge
PMH: recent IUD/TOP/surgery, pregnancy
DH: regular meds, allergies
SH: smoking, alcohol, sexual history (STIs)
