Adam is an average student very friendly and interactive, but tends to bully his friends and even in the middle of the class he fights his friends and bully them just for fun. And all his friends are bothered by his attitude and he interrupts the classroom and diverts attention constantly.

DEFIANCE
Mirna an A student in my class that has a problem of defiance in my classroom; she never accepts changing groups and when she’s told to change her place she aggressively refuses and if I insisted she leaves the class without permission. She makes cooperation in class hard and grouping harder to achieve , for when she defy the change all her peers think it is ok to do so and sit as they desire.
TIER 1
Interventions
Avoid power struggles
- It will keep me in control over her refusal to change her place.
- Establishes my position as being outside of Mirna’s tactics and usual attempts to get what she want.
- Helps me as her teacher to remain calm, clear headed, and more able to make good decisions and actions
Teach Coping Skills
- Improves her self-esteem and make her more prone to listen.
- It improves her over-all behavior.
- Helps to understand the purpose of class grouping

Check in check out
- Checking in with myself at the start of school to retrieve a goal sheet and encouragement, I will provide feedback on the sheet throughout the day, she will check out at the end of the day and take the sheet home to be signed, returning it the following morning at check in.
- Which help home/school communication.

- Will allow her to divert from a stressful situation.
- It can help avoid a power struggle between me and her.
- Provide her with a cool-down time
